Created on the "old"
principles of business, your word and your handshake,
RKR has provided quality electrical contracting services
to the Louisville Metro and Southern Indiana area for 23
years.
While maintaining that same
sense of integrity, RKR has adapted to the use of new
technology by implementing a paper trail with contracts,
lien releases, and change orders to keep all proceedings
legal and documented. We have completely computerized
the accounting and estimating, along with emailing of
quotes, bills etc. to make things easier on general
contractors and customers.
We strive to provide quality
work in every job whether large or small. With projects
such as the renovations at Water Tower Square, The
Quadrangle, JC Penney’s remodel in Greentree Mall, and
many other highly visible local projects, RKR
contributes to the growth of the area.
Our ownership and employees
take great pride in staying abreast of new technology
and trends. We rely on vendors to present new
labor saving and energy efficient products, we educate
our installers, and we attend trade shows on new
technology both locally and nationally . By staying
knowledgeable of the change and innovation in our
industry, we are better able to provide quality and
efficient work for our customers.
OUR STAFF
Our company is very proud of
our staff of

employees who include five
graduates of the four year
IEC
apprenticeship program, one instructor at the
IEC
school, and 2 current students.
Vice
President Susan Cox has been the chapter president for
the IEC of Kentucky & Southern Indiana, and currently
sits on their executive committee as treasurer. She has
also been a regional director over 13 states, Awards
Committee chairperson, and currently sits on the
Government Affairs committee at the national level of
the IEC. Susan serves as secretary of the Providence
Alumni Association and is Troop leader for 3 Girl Scout
troops in Louisville.
President Dennis Ettel is a
4th degree Knight of Columbus and organizes
the K of C fish fry’s at St. Michael’s Church in
Charlestown. Dennis also volunteers his time at
Providence High School doing gratis work and helping
with the football team. In January 2008 the Providence
Alumni Association bestowed the Outstanding Alumni Award
to Dennis.

CERTIFICATIONS
RKR is a member of the
IEC
(Independent Electrical Contractors Association) and our
founder Robert K. Reinmiller was second president of the
Louisville, KY IECA before joining the national
IEC
membership. Our vice-president Susan Cox is the current
IEC president. Between Bob Reinmiller, Dennis Ettel and
Kevin Dickman we have over ninety years combined
experience in the electrical contracting industry.
RKR
holds electrical licenses in the following areas of
Indiana: Jeffersonville, Clarksville, New Albany,
Seymour, Terre Haute and Indianapolis. RKR also holds
licenses in the states of Kentucky and Ohio and in the
city of St. Louis. All RKR’s crew leaders hold Master
Electrician licenses in the state of Kentucky.
